Ok I give up. I am not near a VW dealership and no expert VW mechanics either. I am in Central America and Mexico is too far for me to drive.
I have a 1998 VW that the reverse gears went out on. Anyhow the mechanic that I found(here they are all hands on and none have the extra stuff like in the states..shade tree galore) Anyhow he was able to disassemble the transmission all the way to the gear box and now cannot get the gears to release and come out of the gear box. Is there a special trick?Is there something we arenīt seeing that we should be doing?
I love my VW and get really ill if I donīt get to drive her daily.
