I have a 1998 Cabrio, and having transmission problems. Reverse is going out and need a new transmission......i have trans code DSQ the car is a 2.0 , with 5 speeds trans. I have heard that this is a very common problem with these cars. Could anyone advise me on if other trans. codes will fit this car. I have been told by a couple people that the DfQ which i have will interchange with the AMC, CAT, and DSN

you should match them up
gear ratio is your biggest problem dont want the thingredlined at 60 mph
