Fuel pump sending unit - 1995 Cabrio
Help! I had to replace the fuel gauge sending using because it was not registering fuel level. The pump is fine. I'm OK with the two lines on top of the pump assemble, but now, I'm not getting fuel.
There are two plastic lines from the sending unit connected to the pump. Would it be that I have them reversed? I'm getting a small leake on top of the assemply now also and was thinking this may be the case. There are no arrows to indicate the direction to place the plastic lines to the pump.
Thank you all

Welcome to the forum Chris.
So the car ran ok before you changed the tank sender apart from the fuel gauge not working?
We don't know full details of your motor.
You could have reversed the pipes you should have marked from before removal. Some sender units have arrows showing the flow, some have larger fuel feed pipe than the return. When you turn the ignition on the pump should run for a couple of seconds to prime the system. Reverse the pipes and see if it runs.
