Distributor issues HELP!
 

I bought a 1988 VW Cabriolet that wasn't running as a project, after back surgery and waiting a year I have finally gotten started on it. I have no fire from the distributor but have power to the coil, but no power to the distributor?. The hall sensor had electrical tape holding it to the distributor, and looked to have been broken in the past. I have only a few of the fuses getting power in the fuse box. I am trying to get a Hall sensor or distributor for it with the original Bosch # 026 905 051D, there seems to be several distributor #s for this year? Will any of them work? And is there possibly another issue for not getting power to the fuse panel and the distributor? Any info would be a great help. Thanks
