I really need your help.
I have just purchased a 1998 VW Cabrio and the roof mechanism is no longer there...
I would like to replace the hydraulic system with an electric cylinder but I cannot find the specifications of the original cylinder: Stoke, Extracted and Extended length...

It might be a little hard to measure, but can anyone measure the one on their Cabrio?! I know you can see it once the roof is open... If I can at least get the measurement when the cylinder is closed, that will give me a good idea!!!
