can you remove a roll bar on a 2000-01 Volkswagen Cabrio?

Default can you remove a roll bar on a 2000-01 Volkswagen Cabrio?
i have a dark green 1996 vw vabrio but i cannot find any bodykits for it like front bumper side skirt rear bumper etc.. does anyone know if the body kit of a jetta or a golf gti of the same year would fit? i went to myhotvw.com but cannot find nothing usefull.

The Golf should about the same. Try searching on ebay.
