I have a '96 2L VW Cabrio that has quite a few issues that I need to gut out, random wiring bugs and random other stuff. Anyway, I was thinking since I will be gutting my car eventually, I would like to see more power out of it. So that brings me to my question, has anyone on here attempted a VR6 swap into a Cabrio? I'm not exactly sure what all I would need to change to get it to work. Just hoping to shed some light.

 

Also, I forgot to mention, it is currently an Automatic, but I'd like to get it to 5-speed.
