Default 98 GLS water leaking problem

I have already widened the holes in the pinch weld on the rocker panels but I am still getting water on the floorboards (mainly passenger rear) after rains. It is not coming from above. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi havent visited since Sept 17 when I think it was Keith who gave me the gearbox codes. Great help and have had good motoring after sourcing a replacement. Thanks. I have just had the same problem after the weekends heavy rain. The car had been on the drive so stationery for 2 days before that we hadnt had any rain. Both passenger foot wells are saoked with what can only be described as a puddle. I couldnt see where it is leaking from other parts like the hood as they appear dry. Front passenger wells are dry. Any advice on where to look and try and trace the water ingress would be great.

My car is a VW Golf Cabriolet 2.0L 2001. It was done as a personal import and the spec was up to Colour Concept, although it is described as a Highline Spec.
