98 Cabrio is leaking Antifreeze from mystery area. See pic
Hello,
My wife just bought a 1998 Cabrio with 140k miles on it from a private seller. She brought it home yesterday and it smelled of antifreeze.
I took a picture of where the antifreeze is puddleing in the engine, but I cant tell where it is coming from.
The white round object in the foreground is the brake reservoir. The right side of the picture is the firewall.
It does not appear that any of the hoses in that area are leaking. The leak occurs if the car is running or not. I dried up the fluid and more appeared overnight.
What is on the engine in that area that could possibly leak antifreeze?
