I have had a noise and narrowed it down to either the power steering pump or water pump it sounds like a ticking coming from the engine but I cant seem to tell if it is the water pump or power steering pump, another note when I turn the wheel it stops for a brief second then comes back any ideas? The original post was engine ticking but I removed the two belts and it narrowed down to the v belt its a 96 cabrio.
