1999 Cabrio Window Lift Motor Option
 

Has any found success with a aftermarket driver side window lift motor that is reliable and reasonably priced
for 1999 cabrio GLS
VW part (if you can find them) is $400 and re-manufactured are $200.
Feedback appreciated.

UPDATE and SUCCESS! I was planning to put a JETTA manual window regulator and crank in my Cabrio, as I did not want the expense of a $400 window motor.
Just by luck I disconnected the window motor and I cleaned and put anti seize dielectric grease on all connectors and switches. After hooking back up, I tried one last time.
Now my window works like new! No more intermittent problem!
