I'm trying to find info and a site to help me locate the year model from the chassis or trans on the buggy. We have allready lifted the fiberglass body off to access the work needed. We need to find an engine or another beetle. Ebay doesn't have much. The cheapest beetle we found is approx. $1700. I know we might have to go to local vw beetle repair shops or salvage yards to get info. Any info on web sites would be helpfull. Thanks for your time.
