Default What to watch out for

I'm new here and just bought an 04 Beetle, convertable, gls with 2.0L, 92,000 miles. Looks like the lot just did a well rounded service. I have heard horror stories on costly repairs so I want to make sure I stay on top of things. When do you guys think a timing belt needs replaced ? Any ideas on costing for this ?

If I knew more details about your motor I can tell you if the timing belt needs changing, whats the mileage?
