does any one know if its possible and where i could get the parts to upgrade my car to an offroad bug. I know that you cant make it into a baji bug. Something to do with the front suspenion. so i know thats out but ive seen some bugs that havent been stripped completely that look to be lifted for offroading. so any ideas on what to look for would be very helpful.

A baja kit is all body parts, front fenders, rear fenders,
rear engine cover and front hood. A suspension lift is
a very difficult job on a beetle, gets involved and you will
need a pro do it.

 

so your saying its do able then. and i would need a pro to do it, what do you mean by a pro?

A common off road vehicle is the "sand rail". A vehicle made of welded tubing with the VW drivetrain and suspension bolted on. They're always a blast!
