Should I Buy this Car.
I am a poor student, that needs a reliable car.
I drive to school, work, other work, and back which in total equals about 60 miles a day. I need a car with a good fuel economy, and one that requires little maintenance or maintenance I can do myself. I doesn't rain that often, but when it does it rains hard so I'll need a car that preforms decently in the rain.
A co-worker wants to sell his 1971 Beetle. He said he would go as low as $2500. It has a rebuilt engine and transmission, I going to test drive it today, but thats about all I know.

What should I expect from this car? What kind of questions should I ask?
Also I was recommended this book as well.

[IMG][/IMG]Don't buy this car if your looking for cheap transportation. It will only get about 22 miles per gallon on the highway. I used to own one! maybe 25 if you drive like an old lady. SPEND your money wisely and geta Honda or used Prelude. Another nice car would be a 1998 Stratus with under 125,000
