SAE-P1128/VAG-17536 code
 
Today I scaned my car and got a P1128/17536 code.
I looked it up and it says/long term fuel trim mult,bank 1 system too lean.Can someone tell me what could be the problem and how to fix it.I have a 2000 vw Beetle 2.0 4L motor code AEG.

I had something similar on a Ford Taurus of mine. New O2 sensors fixed it.

checked my evap service port for presure but i did not hear or feel any air. and yes i changed my o2 sensors.

do a datastream and see how many grams of air it is reading

SwedishGP you hit the nail on the head it is the MAF changed it and the car runs good with no codesnow, thanks to all that tried to help me out.

Please advise we have a late model Tourang still in extended warranty and it just broke down due to

Loss of power- air filter contaminated with water and deteriorated. Replace and unblock air filter housing drain.
and air mass sensor filled with water

How can this be possible and the dealer saying it is not covered by warranty
