Radio Code
 

I would like to purchased a used VW radio to go into my beetle. What steps are necessary for me to get the radio to function in regards to the codes? I have the code from the original radio. Do I need to have a code with the replacement radio? If the replacement radio code is unavailable what are my options? The radio is the same as the one removed other than the date of install/manufacture.
