pulling factory radio for a aftermarket cd player
Hey guys, I have seen a lot of aftermarket install kits. It comes with a face plate wire harness, and a antena. The problem is some stores say the antena in my car is amplified, and some say it's not. The amplified one has a red wire coming out of it, and the other one looks like a 1/2 inch bullet. Can someone shed some light on this matter please.
P.S. My car is a 2000 VW Beetle Gls! Thanks |

non amplified
but you might need an adapter for the plug on the antena if you use the stock one |

you are right Jrailer. just found that out 10 mins ago. it seems some retailers like to sell us things we don't need. and in the meantime make more money the amplified one costs $25.00
and the other $5.00. thnks again. |
