I have a 1999 VW New Bettle and the red brake light comes on and the aural warning sounds when I come to a stop. This occurs only after I have been at a stop for about 60 seconds and goes out after the brakes are released. Visual inspection shows plenty of pad left on all wheels and fluid up to the full mark. Brakes operate normally and car stops great with no other problems. I have not been able to trace this down. Any ideas out there?
