Need help!!! Problems with alarm
 

hey guys and gals, i need some help from ya

last night the alarm on my wife's 2004 beetle started going off randomly. it was parked and locked and the alarm went off. we turned the alarm off and then a few minutes later it went off again. we played this game for a few minutes and then went out to the car to manually unlock the car, open the door and re-locked it. nothing touched the car and the alarm went off again.

i left the car unlocked, closed the door and 30 min later the alarm went off again, while the car was unlocked!

anybody have any idea what is going on? my wifes car drives me crazy with all the weird problems is has.

is there a way to disable the alarm until we can get the real problem fixed?

would pulling the fuse to the horn help? the alarm would still go off but would not make noise, only flash lights right?

any help is appreciated, thanks alot
