Default Need help identifying this hose

Hello Beetle enthusiasts. My wife has a 2001 VW beetle 1.8 turbo with a $10,000 paint job but it has barely been driven the past 15 years even sat for a few years. She got a good job and it's been having some issues. The current issue is it has a leak at the thermostat and the thermostat housing so we're replacing those and any of the hoses along the way and that are connected to it.
If anybody knows of a kit I can get from carparts.com or CARiD please let me know or let me know the hoses I will be replacing doing this job. I also have another issue coolant with spraying me in the face from this hose and I don't know what to call it. Please reference the picture to identify the hose.

This is on the right side of the engine real easy to get to

This is the other side of that hose the clamp looks weird and not your typical clamp and not sure what it's going into if I need anything special like gaskets or special clamp.
