Default Help !Cylinder 3 & 4 Plugs fouling

I have a VW powered trike. It is new last year (2007). After 2,000 miles I had some torsion work done (it was leaning) and had the valves adjusted and the heads torqued. That's when my troubles began. Cylinders 3 & 4 plugs are fouling. They are dry (not oil) but lots of carbon which from what I've researched, indicates that they are not firing properly. Because it is only on the 3-4 side that it is not carburetion otherwise it would be affecting all of the plugs. Anyone got any ideas ?

I found the answer from an old bug expert. I'll share it if you're interested.

fuel pump gasket missing (some dummy left it out, oh yeah, that was me !). Add gasket-shorten stroke of fuel pump-less gas at idle-fouling stopped. It's always the simple things.
