key keeps sticking
I have a 2003 convertable beetle and the key gets stuck and wont come out, sometimes it comes out real easy
but when it gets stuck I am worried, I do not want to leave the keys in the car! any advice?? does anyone else have this problem? thanks!;) cristine |

If it's an automatic the key cannot be removed unless the transmission is in neutral, other than that???????????? Earl |

thanks it is automatic I called a couple of dealers, the 1st was not helpful, but the one in OKC told me to make sure it is all the way in park. when i make sure it is all the way in park the silver thing pops out more of the gear thing , do you know what i mean? anyway that has worked so far yaaaa!!!!!!! i have tried it a few times since I called them earlier :) so happy i can get the keys out!!HA HA thank you again for your response C[:-]:D:D:D;) |
