I need help
 

I am frustrated, and DO NOT know what else to do. I have a 2010 VW Beetle, I needed to replace the receiver/ drier for the Air conditioning system, which I done with no problem. The system has been evacuated, and has taken R134a refrigerant, but the AC compressor will not engage. I have fund a 3 pin pressure switch close to the firewall on the passenger side, and shorted pins to bypass the pressure switch, and it still will NOT engage. I am at my wits end, does anyone have an idea, what I am missing?
