Hey all, noob here. I've always liked bugs, but never had the chance to actually become an owner, much less learn too much about them. An old friend of mine from HS is selling his '65, and to be honest with you, I don't know how much a bug in this condition should be going for. Sooo...i'm hoping you all can give me some rough estimates. Here are some pics:

I don't know about where you are but here in New Mexico if it runs good and the interior ain't in too bad a shape, I would say no more than $800.00 or $850.00.

between $800-$1600. bugs are getting very expensive. especally the earlier ones. this one dosn't look all OG, but still lowered a bit, and looks decent, any idea what engine it has?

looks like an aftermarket ragtop kit, you will need to pull up the carpets and check for rust, but tops $1000.
