I have a 1976 V/W Beetle, and my front hood latch will not open. The latch lock in the glove box is in the full unlock position and we've even tried to wiggle it, as we pushed the latch button all the way in. Nothings seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can get it to open, or get inside the compartment to manually unlatch the hood?
