We are working on a 1971 VW Bettle, when finished it will be a rolling billboard as well a being set up to cater at car shows and other events. We have removed the engine transmission all the interior to be replace with a grill, propane bottles etc. My problem is how to lower the rear of the car. I have removed the shocks but didn't help. Without the engine and transmission the car sits about 3 to 4 inches too high. The car will always be towed too and from events. The car has been cut just below the windows and the top and the whole assembly is lifted by remote to approx 6 and 1/2 feet to allow the cook to stand inside the car to cook on the large grill now sitting where the rear seat was. Just need some help in getting the rear end lowered. Thanks in advance for your help. If pics would help let me know.
