I am new to this web site. I was wondering if anyone out here has a picture/ directions or a link on how to change the battery for my 01 beetle. I am only 23 and my ex used to do this for me but now he is out of the picture. Help...

 

Locate the battery, remove battery hold down, remove POS+ cable, remove NEG- cable, lift out battery, sit in new battery, replace NEG- cable,replace POS+ cable,replace battery hold down,sit in chair,drink cold beer. Simple....
