Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit

Anyone have any experience with these Electronic Ignition Conversion Kits for older Beetles (1974) ?

Supposed to eliminate points and condenser and be totally maintenance free.

eBay Item number: 320061297541 if interested in reading about it.

Costs a bit less than 50.00 with shipping.
