Convertible drivers side window doesnt move while opening the door

The window on the drivers side of the car functions normally but does not open and close when opening and closing the door. Instead, it stays up and runs into the soft top. Anyone know of a way to fix it?? Thanks!!

does your interior light come on when you open the door
i had one doing that had to change the door latch
it didnt know when the door was open
