Clunking sounds from driver side rear tire
I have a 1968 bug with a bugatti fiberglass kit on it. When driving at any speed the driverside rear tire clunks. The clunk sppeds up as the car speeds up so i thought it might be the bearing but I took a look and the bearing looks fine. Any suggestions of where to look next???

RE: Clunking sounds from driver side rear tire
No one replied prolly cause they don't know about '68 bugs. I know less than zero about '68 bugs, but a front end noise has something to do with the suspension. You checked the wheel bearings right? Becuase these cars are rear motor/rear drive, there maybe an axle going bad or something. Other than that, I don't know I'd have to look into it and do some research.
