Can you tell me if these cheviot rims are VW ones?
 

Hi I was wondering if you guys may have some information i'm looking for.
I have a set of:

Cheviot 6jj x 14 mags/rims.

They came off of a 72 super bug but had spacer plates so they'd fit on without rubbing. Standard vw rims i have on now fit perfect and without spacer plates which i know are illegal in Qld.

I've heard there are 2 types of cheviot mags, basically vw and ones made for holdens etc. How can you tell if they are vw cheviot mags. Is there a stamp to look for? Am I right in saying if they are vw's that they can go for $200 each? Any info is greatly appreciated.
