Brake Lights Not Working

Brake Lights Not Working
Hello,
I've been having problems with my 62' VW bugs brake lights, they aren't coming on! I have tried to trace it down and could only find that there was no reading of power coming to certain parts of the fuse box in the hood of the car. The turn signals work, headlights and tail lights work. I was thinking it might have a bad fuse box... I dont want to mess with the break light switch because I dont think that is the problem, something just isn't getting power or is broken. Also, would anyone know if local auto shops carry 8 fuse, fuse boxes? I would greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks!
Justin

RE: Brake Lights Not Working
Thanks for the tip. I checked and removed the brake light switch only to find that there was a ton of dirt blocking it up. I found a shop nearby that carried it for only about 4.50$ Anyways now it works!!! And as I was there, at the shop, I bought some new plastic domes for the front turnsignal lamps and the rear lights, the old ones were originals, lol. And the chrome covering still had the production date stamped in them, June 12th 1962.
Thanks again
Thanks again
