Beetle stalled
 

Hey my wife's 2000 beetle stalled at a intersection,She tried to start it up again with no luck.
I got it towed home and again tried to start no go,I pulled the part that looks like an acorn turned the key to ON position and the gas gushed out so that tells me that the fuel pump is working.I'm thinking spark what do you guys think.

Hey,Is any one willing to help last time 2008 i asked for help people where happy to help this site today seems a little slow,Anyway if someone is willing to help then here's what i did today,it still wont start,sprayed some quick start into the throttle body DID NOT START,puled spark plugs cleaned them reinstall NO START,Checked all fuses all good,checked for spark all good,Am i missing anything,Your help is welcome and appreciated thanks in advance.
