i to have many problems with my 2002 beetle, the sunroof leaks terrible, there is mold actually showing on my back seat,,, and now the air bag light is on, i am going to sell my bug, to many costly problems,, i am going to put a sign on it that says what a lemon my vw is , and also tape on little lemon cutouts and park it in front of my friendly local vw dealer,, one would be surprised what gets fixed quickly ,,,,

my 2002 vw has sure been a problem,, tha sunroof ,leaks something terrible,, i have mold spots on my back seat,, stains on my headliner ,,, there is a class action lawsuit on now against vw for leakage , the airbag light is on ,, i am trying to get the light out before i sell ,, i think i will put a sign on my car telling all the troubles i have had,, and tape some lemons on it and park in front of my friendly neighborhood vw dealer , that should get them hoppin???
Hey. I have a 2000 jetta and the other day my horn started going off and would not stop, and I could hear something rattling in the steering wheel. I took the air bag off the steering wheel to find out what it was. A loonie was the reason for the rattle and when I took it out the horn stopped going off but my air bag light came on. Does anyone know how to get the light to shut off. Everything is plugged in
Read all the treads on this subject...removed both seats to check connectors, checked wiring for binding or disconnected and still light on....Dealer wants $1400.00 and local mechanic wants $800.00....have I missed anything else?
