I've noticed that the floor mats in the passenger side of my wife's Beetle are wet. She mentioned to me that she seen iwater dripping while she was sitting idle with the air conditioning on. I've been told that the drain tube may be plugged.If true, is this an easy fix?

you can unplug it with a wire or hanger but you might need to jack it up to get to it
