'75 Beetle turns off at stop signs

I need help with a problem my '75 Beetle has been having. I just had the fuel pump replaced and the carb adjusted, but now it turns off every time I come to a complete stop. Any suggestions? Thanks.

check the idle cut off valve is the wire still hooked up to it

try ajusting your idle speed. also try looking your fuel / air mixture
