if it is not fuel injected then i would say carb floats need to be adjusted. bugs are not know for the soothin warm heat they produce. i have a small converterac/dc and a space heter but they make all sort of heaters in the camping and off road worlds. i would be affraid of using any fuel type heater as they could start a fire. jc whitney sells a booster fan kit for stock applications. i havent tried that system but i have read the listing.

how steep a hill? if you dont have enough fuel in it and you park on a hill it may not be able to get fuel from the tank
