74 Idle Problems
 

3 years ago...mechanic installed engine and car ran fine for about 2 weeks and the idle gradually started slowing until it wouldn't idle at all. Someone suggested a valve adjustment, but the engine has maybe 100 miles on it. I was leaning more towards an intake leak. It still starts just fine, but still can't get it to idle no matter how much I adjust the carb. What is a good starting point for the Volume Adjustment Screw on a 34 PICT 3? Thanks for any advice.
