spry a BUTT load of pb-blaster (beter than WD-40) in it to losen it up and try it out. if that dont work a hammer is your best friend

Check to see if the cable from the inside to the latch is broken. If not than you will have to pry it open if the PB Blaster doesn't work. And it is alot better than WD40

i dont think he could do that unless if it is rusted out or some thing. but some thing that he could give a try is going through the "trunk wall" (fire wall).

When I first got my 66, I had the same problem. I ended up using a propane torch to heat the joint, then I twisted the hood with my hands while a buddy was pulling on the trunk latch... try it, it may work for you. Just remember, easy does it. ;)

i'll go take a look at mine, i'll see what ways you could do it...gimme a little bit

EDIT: i need a little more info, is it rusted shut, wire broke? i found that you can get to the wire just up and behind the bottom of the hood(mines a '65 though so they might be different), you might need to cut that and pull it with pliers, sorry i can't help much...need a little more info
