try this site for colors and codes, http://www.hallvw.clara.net/vwpaint.htm try this site for restoration colors schemes, http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/colors/colorchrt.htm , and you can find paint code usually int the spare tire area on a sticker with some german word on it and an "L"code number, like L 369 hope i could help.
