'72 bug re-build

I need a fun daily driver. I have new stock jugs & pistons, but was going to swith to .044 heads and a better cam. Any suggestions to make it all work. This is my first time.

With stock bore [85.5 mm] IMO, the heads and a cam are a waste. Build it stock for reliability and put a nice 4into1 header on it and enjoy!
