72 Beetle, AutoStick Problem
Hello folks, I am having some trouble with my 72 beetle with the autostick. Whenever I come to a stop I am stalling, even if i put it in neutral. As soon as I put the brake/clutch pedal down it just stalls. It starts and idles effortlessly while sitting in neutral. What could be wrong with it?
Another question, heard that all the beetles brakes were like this but thought I would ask: When I put the brake pedal down I have to pump it in order to get any brakes, is this normal among bugs?
Thank You!
Frankie

Why would a car run in park but stall in gear
Sounds like you may need to check for the right amount of brake fluid and/or fluid leaks.
