72 baja beetle engine
 

i am getting a 72 baja and a 73 beetle thurs. it has one rusted motor. i guy told me at a local beetle shop that a new long block will only last 100,000 miles and a remanufactured longblock will only last 25 to 30,000 miles, is this true? i didnt really believe the guy? and what motors would be the ones that came in those two?

1600 cc on both
it all depends on who bilds them and how well they are taken care of they can last a long time
my shop inutahoffers a 2 year 25000 mile warrenty
