I just purchased an 04 New Beetle Convertable with a top problem, out of warranty.Afterhaving a body shop replace the back bracket assembleys, the top functioned correctly twice, up and down, now doesn't go all the way down to allow the side shields to retract,error symbol flashes, the top at this point, of course, won't go up.If I manually put the top upto try again, the problem is repeated. The shop is at a loss as to what the problem is?? HELP!
