2000 New Beetle sway on acceleration

My daughter has a 2000 New Beetle 1.8 turbo that pulls hard on acceleration. It is especially noticable at over 50 mph. It will pull when you accelerate and pull the other way when you let off. Will a motor mount cause this?? If not, what. Thanks.

Dan, Thats what's known as "torque steer". Look it up on google. Your daughter must really be using the Turbo a lot?
