2000 Air Bag Light

200 Beetle AIR BAG light on. Dealer wants $500 bucks to fix, says electronic connector is bad. Any advice?

Recall notices on other models or years on this problem?

i would have someone else do it, unless it actually is a recall, which the dealer has to do for free, if its just a tsb it will most likely be cheaper
