200o Beetle AIR BAG light on. Dealer wants $500 bucks to fix, says electronic connector is bad for passenger side. I worte a letter to VW to complain about how something like this is not a recall item? How can a connector go bad on something that is never used (hopefully). Any hints on what else I could do other then fork over $500 bucks to our dealer snake? Anyone know of any recalls on this item on other years and models? I will beat up VW if there is chance for a recall fix.
