My friend and I are building a 68 beetle and cant seem to find good engine retailers. Are there any recommendations you can give me?

You might try one of the VW magazines, like VW Trends, or Dune Buggies & Hot VW's. I was always able to find exactly what I needed in these. Good luck on your build.

 

www.mamotorworks.com seem to have decent engine prices. As well as nearly ANY other part you could need for a bug.
