02 Beetle leaking

I have a 2002 beetle with sunroof tdi.

the floorboard is soaked when it rains hard, just recently started this.
The leaking is coming from the top corner of the window (it seems)

Are there drain vents for the sunroof ? could they be clogged ?

THX

RE: 02 Beetle leaking

My 2002 Beetle leaks water in as well. I have found that mine comes in from the right and left back windows. It kind of drips from the top of the window. It only leaks when it rains really hard or go through a high pressure car wash. Recently had a VW roof rack on the car, took it off yesterday to see if that was what was causing the leak. It's not rained yet, so we are just waiting to see what happens. I do recommend a couple tubs of Damp Rid. It has helped the dampness tremendously in mine. You can pick it up at your local Lowes in the cleaning supplies dept.

Good Luck!
